Studio Matilda Ekström is a young design studio focusing on textile, pattern and surface design, based in Malmö in the south of Sweden.

The ambition is to create bold and poetic textiles. Cherishing the slow, small scale and long lasting discourse. Always sensitive and careful during the design process giving the unexpected great focus, often in abstraction with a strong sense of composition.

Studio Matilda Ekstrom is working with a small scale production as well as commissioned work for producers and clients within interior and fashion. The studio is all about creating textiles that are cherished and that inspires people in their everyday life. Feel free to contact me for collaboratios or comissions.

In september 2019 during London Design Fair, Studio Matilda Ekström is launching her new collection Everyday Leftover and will open her new web shop shortly after.
